Jack Jiang
PhD Student
Jack is a shared PhD student between the de Ridder Lab and the Kemmeren Group at the Princess Maxima Center. He obtained his bachelor’s in computer science at Leiden University in 2022 and his master’s in bioinformatics and Biocomplexity at Utrecht University in 2025. Before joining the de Ridder Lab, Jack worked on single-cell data integration and developed graph neural networks for kinase-ligand binding affinity prediction. His current work focuses on extracting biological insights on pediatric oncology from machine learning models through the application of explainable AI techniques.
